Programs

Overview

Our program is flexible to meet the needs of individual families. Preschoolers may attend 9am - 1pm (this includes snack and a hot, freshly prepared lunch) or all day,6:30am - 6:30pm (also includes 2 or 3 snacks and hot lunch).  Parents may choose to enroll their children from two to five days per week. School-age children in Kindergarten – 6th grades may attend before school, after school, or both. School-age children enrolled during the school year may also attend during school breaks, teacher work days, and part or full time during the summer, as space allows.

Currently, there is school-bus pick up and drop off at HMCDS for children who attend Oakton Elementary School (Kindergartners – 6th graders). In addition, there is sometimes bus service to and/or from Sunrise Valley Elementary, depending on the status of children enrolled at Hunter Mill.
