Our program is flexible to meet the needs of individual families. Preschoolers may attend 9 am to 1 pm (this includes a hot lunch) or all day, from two to five days per week. Kindergartners may attend before school, after school, or both. School-age children in the 1st – 6th grades may attend before school, after school, or both. Kindergartners and school-age children enrolled during the school year may also attend full time during the summer, as space allows.

Currently, there is school bus pick up and drop off at HMCDS for children who attend Oakton Elementary School (Kindergartners and 1st – 6th graders). In addition, there is sometimes bus service to and/or from Sunrise Valley Elementary, depending on the status of children enrolled at Hunter Mill.
