HMCDS is located in a beautiful country setting on five sprawling acres of former farmland. In addition to the main schoolhouse, we have two fully equipped playgrounds; a barn-covered, outdoor play area (the “Red Barn”); a stage and amphitheatre; half basketball court; vegetable garden, fruit trees and fish ponds; and animal barn (the “White Barn”) and pasture; the “Small White House” with the pottery kiln; and a woodworking shed. All of these are surrounded by age-old trees, white picket fences and rolling, grassy hills.

Our horses, ponies, goats, pig, sheep, hamsters, turtles, rabbits and chickens complete this beautiful natural environment and provide added enjoyment and learning experiences for the children.
